Instructions
Use the notes taken during the class discussion to make a list of advantages and disadvantages of students using phones in class.
Bear in mind that a point is completely different from an example or elaboration.
You can give many examples to illustrate a point BUT you cannot give examples for an example!

Students should be allowed to use mobile phones…..
· Recorder à take ntoes, record lecture and revise later
· Schools should come up with rules à exam
· Cut down on paper usage
· Lessons are more interesting à pass exams because more interested
· Use dictionary
· Some applications will à calculator notepad
· Google -> search
· Timer, stop watch.. to manage time during test
· For safety’s sake à communicate with parents
· To take note of important points
o Note application to take notes and put as wallpaper for instant reminders
o Make reminder
o For forgetful students à Record homework
o Boy’s handwriting is illegible à notes will be neater.
Students should NOT use allowed to use mobile phones….
· To avoid cheating during examination by texting friends for answers
· Writing can help you to remember better than using handphones
· False text
o Fire in school. Everybody wants to run.
· Long term health damage
o Mobile phone have radiation in them

· Ringing cell phones can distract classes and students during lesson
· Can cheat by taking pictures during national exam
· Violation of privacy
· Not properly educated on cellphone etiquette à undesirable websites
· Increase loss of handphone -> stealing, theft
· Rely too much on technology à communication between people.
· Education standard will deteriorate
